Q:  Who is Kate Powers?
A:  Kate is a writers’-assistant-turned-writer on Sundance Channel’s Rectify.

Q:  What has Kate done?
A:  After serving as writers’ assistant/script coordinator on two seasons Rectify, Kate recently cowrote an episode with showrunner Ray McKinnon.  She has also worked on Breaking Bad as the Showrunner’s assistant (to creator Vince Gilligan), script coordinator, writer’s assistant and wrote a Breaking Bad Minisode.  Kate also spent time as the script coordinator on The Good Wife and Pan Am and was a writers’ intern on Mad Men.
