A: Ashley is the writer of numerous Syfy movies, most notably Lavalantula, starring Steve Guttenberg and its sequel.
Q: What has Ashley done?
A: Ashley got her start interning at management firm Kaplan/Perrone before landing at Cinetel Films where she became Director of Development, working on various movies for Syfy, Lifetime and others. While working as a development executive, Ashley fostered her passion for writing and earned her first produced writing credit on 2015’s Syfy movie, Lavalantula. She went on to write the sequel, 2 Lava 2 Lantula, 2016’s Earthtastrophe and Banshee Origins.
Looking to branch into television, Ashley landed a position assisting Outcast and Banshee showrunner Adam Targum and is currently helping with the creative development of several projects for actor/director Jamie Foxx.
