Amber Benson – Writer, Actress

Q:  Who is Amber Benson?
A:  Amber Benson played Tara Maclay on the hit television series “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” for three years, and is now a novelist. She’s based in Los Angeles, but prefers London.

Q:  What has Amber written?
A: Amber is currently writing the fifth installment of her popular Calliope Reaper-Jones series, which includes: Death’s Daughter, Cat’s Claw, Serpent’s Storm, and the recently-released How to Be Death.  She’s written the screenplays for Theory of the Leisure Class (2001), Chance (2002) and Lovers, Liars and Lunatics (2006); and a series of comic books about “Buffy” characters Willow and Tara, in collaboration with author and comic book writer Christopher Golden.  She also teamed with Golden to write the BBC series “Ghosts of Albion,” and its two companion novels: Ghosts of Albion: Accursed and Ghosts of Albion: Witchery.  On the children’s side, Amber has penned the middle-grade book Among the Ghosts.
